PENNSYLVANIA LICENSED FUNERAL DIRECTOR or INTERN:

York County, PA, family owned funeral home is seeking a PA licensed Funeral Director or Intern, who is detail oriented, professional, and capable of performing or learning all aspects of funeral directing.
PA LICENSED FUNERAL DIRECTOR duties would include, but are not limited to, working with families during at-need and pre-need arrangements, directing services, embalming, dressing, and cosmetic work; supporting and greeting families and friends during services; performing removals, and completing paperwork, etc.
INTERN must be enthusiastic to learn all duties and requirements of being a future Licensed Funeral Director and work well with others.
The successful candidate must be kind, personable, neat, energetic, willing to work with others to serve families in a time of need, must be a team player, and drug/alcohol free. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary, excellent benefits, including 100% employer-paid health insurance, disability, and life insurance for employees; a rotating on-call schedule which offers both weekends and weekdays off each month, paid vacation and sick days, and 100% employer-paid professional licensing, continuing education fees, and a retirement plan following a vested period of employment. PHILADELPHIA FUNERAL DIRECTOR AND/OR INTERN NEEDED

Our firm is looking to add a talented, experienced and motivated funeral director(s) and/or interns to our team. Our staff work as a team to create a seamless and meaningful experience for the families in our care. While this can be a comprehensive funeral director/intern attendant position(s) (arranging, directing, pre-need, embalming, etc.), we seek candidates who have a passion and focus on the care of families and meeting their needs.
Candidates must have:
- The appropriate state funeral licensure or and/or be actively working towards licensure if applying for a funeral director/internship position.
*If applying for a funeral attendant/assistant position the candidate must have an Associate Degree or higher.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with families during time of need and create and maintain a premier level of client family satisfaction.
- Proficient with computers and technology
- Ability to manage a caseload/multiple caseloads (or the ability to learn) while creating an exceptional customer experience.
- Consider community charitable involvement and other similar commitments while employed.
*Our staff is not required to facilitate night removals and/or nightly preparatory work.
** Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not required for funeral directors/interns.
